It was Saturday. There was nothing special about the day in particular, except for the fact that it was only 4 more days until Christmas. The streets would be filled with shoppers, carolers, and representatives of various service organizations looking for donations. Amanda was nervous. Why, she wasn’t quite sure. This wasn’t the first time she’d been out on a date. She’d been out with lots of guys, although nothing had ever come of it. They had been blind dates she had been set up on by her friends, who she slowly found had little taste.
This time was different. She was inviting a friend from college over to her house. She had a few classes with him, and he seemed like a pretty nice guy. The Show Must Go OnHe had walked this street many times. There was nothing special about it. Just an ordinary city street. Ordinary trash. Ordinary concrete sidewalk. Ordinary pavement. Just 100 percent all-around ordinary.
But for the young man standing alone in the middle of the night, this street was a monument. a monument for her. This was the very spot where he saw her walk away for the last time.

Alexander and Morgan Truitt unlocked the door to their house. “So, Alex, how was that ‘very important meeting’ with Executive Apollo?”
He laughed. “Oh, the usual. ‘Which one of these goes better with the tiles, General Truitt?’” He enjoyed mimicking Apollo’s extremely proper British accent.
She looked at him. “Are you sure, dear?”

I say goodbye, I say hello

I'm writing this for myself more than anyone else. If you missed me, then I'm sorry. Other stuff came up and I just stopped coming here. I won't be updating my page anymore. I may come around once in awhile to see what some of the artists I like are up to. Maybe I'll try and get in touch with old friends.

I'm happy to say I'm not the same as I was when I left. Besides being a furry, I have discovered that I was bi. I have finally realized that I am a woman, just in a male body. And last but not least, I'm in love. Who'd have thought? Me in a romantic relationship. Not me. But it happened.

So goodbye, Deviantart. Thanks for helping me discover myself and the world around me.
